Six month anniversary! by amy weiland

We can hardly believe that Constellation Coffee has been around for six months already! Thanks to everyone who has been supporting the cafe, Constellation wouldn't exist without you!

Spring is starting to arrive in Pittsburgh, and the cafe is humming along. We have replaced the espresso machine and are now the happy home of a new La Marzocco Linea. While you're checking out the new machine, make sure to also try some delicious award winning espresso from Ceremony Coffee Roasters. We will be offering a single origin from Panama, winner of America's Best Espresso Competition in New York. This coffee won over 12 out of 12 judges through 4 rounds of head-to-head competition to take 1st Place! It's a real treat to work with and we are proud to serve it.

Additionally, we are featuring an artistic addition to the back room. The Apothecary of Esoteric Panacea is work by local artist Maggie Negrete. Participants are invited to contribute an ailment or treatment to help solve the problems of others. This interactive exhibit will be on display through the month of April.

As always, we have an awesome selection of coffees in season from around the world, and a variety of locally made treats. The rear space of the cafe may also be rented out for meetings and special events, contact us at constellationpgh@gmail.com.

Cheers to all the good things in the works for spring, and another happy six months!

Gesha has arrived! by amy weiland

Constellation is proud to offer a honey-processed Geisha that will only be available for a limited time. The great folks over at Ceremony Coffee Roasters have outdone themselves by sourcing this gem from the Chiriqui Province in Panama, which had ranked 4th in the Best of Panama coffee auction. This is a cup of remarkable balance and integrity - it's fruitiness is tempered by aromas of bergamot, and an elegant cocoa finish.

Come find out what is so special about this amazing coffee!

A Celebratory Season by amy weiland

Over at Constellation we've been busy making new friends and keeping the old. We have a sophisticated holiday blend of Kenyan, Mexican, and Ethiopian coffees available, and a Vintage Holiday blend, which features a Mexican coffee aged in Cabernet Franc barrels. Take time to relax and enjoy what these coffees have to offer!

Constellation will be open from 7am to 2pm on December 24th, and closed December 25th through January 1st to spend time with loved ones and work on some projects around the shop. On January 2nd, we will open at 8am, and return to normal business hours, 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday starting January 3rd.

Wishing you happy holidays and a lovely new year!
